Users, roles, permissions, and scope
Invite and manage users with the minimum module access and group/location scope required.
What this does
Invite and manage users with the minimum module access and group/location scope required.
Steps
- Open Users and search for the person before inviting.
- Invite or open the user.
- Assign authorized groups and locations.
- Assign a role or review its module access levels.
- Save and verify the resulting navigation and edit access.
User lifecycle
Search, invite, edit scope, disable access, and review invitation or membership state from Users.
Access levels
No Access hides and blocks a module. Read Only permits viewing without mutation. Editor permits supported changes inside assigned scope.
Role actions
Create, edit, copy, assign, and delete roles only after reviewing affected users. A role cannot expand a user's assigned group/location scope.
User settings
Invitation and access defaults apply only where the interface exposes them and do not override individual scope restrictions.

- A visible but disabled action generally indicates Read Only access or an unmet workflow prerequisite.
- For invitation and membership states, verify the selected scope, access level, required connection, and displayed validation or freshness status; retry once after correcting the cause, then create a context-rich Support case if it continues.
