Steps
- Open Settings at the intended group or location.
- Identify whether each value is inherited or local.
- Change only the intended setting.
- Save and verify the affected module.
- Use Reset or remove the override to resume inheritance.
Settings reference
Organization identity and supported defaults apply at group scope. Location-specific operational values apply only to the selected location. Inherited indicators show the effective parent value; Reset removes the local replacement.

Select All Locations to manage group defaults where supported. Select a location to inspect effective values and create or remove a local override.

Permissions and scope
- No Access hides or blocks the module. Read Only permits viewing but disables changes. Editor permits the documented create, edit, publish, or administrative actions within the user's assigned scope.

- On narrow screens, open the sidebar or overflow menu to reach the same actions; labels and save behavior are unchanged unless this article says otherwise.

Warnings
- A location override intentionally diverges from the group default and remains in effect when the group default later changes.
Troubleshooting
- Disabled Save can mean Read Only access, unchanged values, invalid input, or a setting unavailable at the selected scope.
- For save, reset, permission, and validation states, verify the selected scope, access level, required connection, and displayed validation or freshness status; retry once after correcting the cause, then create a context-rich Support case if it continues.
