MatriQ Guest Access workflows

What this does

Configure the guest-facing portal, QR posters, campaigns, external links, and eligible Toast menus for one location.

Steps

1. Select a location and open MatriQ Guest Access.
2. Use Dashboard to review published status.
3. Create or edit QR posters, campaigns, external links, or Toast menu presentation.
4. Preview the guest-facing result.
5. Publish and verify from a non-administrative device.
6. Remove obsolete content only after checking current usage.

Guest Access surfaces

QR Posters create entry material; Campaigns manage guest messaging; External Links publish approved destinations; Toast Menus expose eligible connected menu content.

Publish result

Preview validates layout. A live guest result additionally depends on saved/published state and an online configured location gateway.

Permissions and scope

• No Access hides or blocks the module. Read Only permits viewing but disables changes. Editor permits the documented create, edit, publish, or administrative actions within the user's assigned scope.

Mobile

• On narrow screens, open the sidebar or overflow menu to reach the same actions; labels and save behavior are unchanged unless this article says otherwise.

Troubleshooting

• An empty guest portal can mean nothing is published, the location is wrong, or the gateway is offline.
• Toast menu availability depends on the eligible connected location and current mapping.
• For guest-facing result and error states, verify the selected scope, access level, required connection, and displayed validation or freshness status; retry once after correcting the cause, then create a context-rich Support case if it continues.
