Create, template, upload, version, review, approve, and archive creative assets while preserving Brand Kit and campaign usage relationships.
Steps
- Open Create, Templates, My Assets, or Brand Assets.
- Choose a template or upload supported media.
- Apply available Brand Kit values and metadata.
- Run Creative Check and inspect every finding.
- Resolve BLOCKED findings; review WARNING findings; confirm PASS eligibility.
- Approve when authorized, then publish or use through the eligible Campaign, Reviews Widget, or AdNet workflow.
- Review usage before archiving or replacing a version.
Brand Kit
Brand colors, fonts, logos, and reusable identity settings apply within their configured group/location scope and available templates.
Creative Check
PASS has no blocking finding. WARNING requires a human review of the stated risk. BLOCKED is ineligible until each blocking finding is resolved. Approval is a separate authorized action.
Versions, archive, and usage
Versions preserve replacement history. Usage shows dependent campaigns/widgets/AdNet work. Archive removes normal selection but should not erase historical relationships.
Canva availability
Canva remains provider-review dependent and is not generally available. When available, edits in Canva require a return/import or sync step to become a SmartQ asset version.

Permissions and scope
- No Access hides or blocks the module. Read Only permits viewing but disables changes. Editor permits the documented create, edit, publish, or administrative actions within the user's assigned scope.
Mobile
- On narrow screens, open the sidebar or overflow menu to reach the same actions; labels and save behavior are unchanged unless this article says otherwise.

Warnings
- Canva is not generally available while provider review remains pending. Do not depend on it for a production workflow until the UI reports an available connection.
- WARNING requires review but does not mean the same thing as BLOCKED; BLOCKED must be resolved before eligible publication.
Troubleshooting
- Upload failure can reflect file type, size, dimensions, duration, transfer, or validation.
- If archive is unavailable, inspect Campaign, Reviews Widget, or AdNet usage relationships.
- Editing a Canva design does not silently overwrite a published SmartQ asset; return and import/sync the updated design as a new/current version when the integration is available.
- For creative check pass, warning, blocked, approvals, verify the selected scope, access level, required connection, and displayed validation or freshness status; retry once after correcting the cause, then create a context-rich Support case if it continues.
