What this does

Browse the public or personalized feed, search across venues and entities, use nearby discovery, and manage favorites and social actions.

Steps

  1. Open Feed or Discover.
  2. Search or choose a nearby/category mode.
  3. Open a venue, beverage, brand, person, or sports result.
  4. Favorite, follow, share, check in, or report using the available action.
  5. Use load more/pagination for additional results.
  6. Review empty, permission, and retry states.

Feed

The public feed can be browsed without protected actions. Signed-in personalization, save/follow, check-in, reporting, and deletion of one's own content use member identity.

Discover and search

Search covers current indexed entities. Nearby modes depend on permitted location and can be switched back to broader discovery.

Favorites and following

Favorite saves an entity; Follow subscribes to supported updates. Removing either is reversible from the same entity or Favorites/Following surface.

Mobile

  • Mobile navigation exposes the same primary feed, discover, sports, favorites, notifications, and profile destinations; overlays and result details open as mobile sheets/modals.

Customer-visible states

  • loading
  • empty
  • no results
  • location denied
  • signed-out gate
  • action failed

Warnings

  • Nearby discovery requires location permission; decline it to use non-location search instead.

  • A protected action opens sign-in when there is no active member session.
  • For sign-in gates and empty feed, verify the selected scope, access level, required connection, and displayed validation or freshness status; retry once after correcting the cause, then create a context-rich Support case if it continues.
